We've started a tradition of going to Galloway in January. It is easy for us to get to and we enjoy seeing the geese and walking in the coast and in the forest. It is almost perfect for our outdoor holidays.
That must be lovely in frost or snow. Galloway is very accessible from England and has lots of outdoor opportunities. What I never understand is how few people from north of the central belt of Scotland bother to go there.
Memories of that video workshop at Newlands several years ago. But shouldn't you have edited out the sequence of you running back to fetch the camera?
