There is sooooo much to love and explore. Cities as well as countryside, though they require a lot of self talking to draw me in! Remote beautiful countryside- now I can get right behind that, my knees less keen, but hey ho! Hope your talk went well BTW?
A good account and your experience largely tallies with mine, though I didn’t publish on my own account until 2023 and the start of my novel series. I’d have struggled mightily with marketing too but it’s bad that it took such a toll.
You must have found so many more aspects to cover when you started publishing your novels. My biggest burden was trying to sell the printed books into regional outlets – not just once but maintaining repeat sales.
Thank you for sharing that, Felicity. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
Thanks Julia.
That’s fascinating Felicity, thanks for sharing your experiences. What a knowledge of landscapes you must have!
Thanks Sarah. I know Scotland pretty well in all its diversity, although there are still corners I haven’t explored yet.

Agreed. Urban settings don’t have the same appeal. My talk is on Thursday week. And I still need to put my slideshow together!!
