A word of warning - I found the Oban to Craignure ferry solidly booked three weeks ahead when I went to book - no spaces for campervans. Instead I bought a return ticket Lochaline to Fishnish, which is ‘Turn up and Go’ - no booking needed. It is a longer drive, unless you come from north of Fort William, but a shorter crossing.
This makes me want to jump in the camper and head straight to Mull!

Yes, I’ve always liked it better than Skye. Perhaps because when I first visited them in 1980 the sun shone in Mull and it rained on Skye!
